ilikesinging is a creative venture started by Rose in 2013 when she was a student of Voice and Production at London Centre of Contemporary Music.
Since graduating her passion has been clear: to explore all aspects of voice – a challenge that continues to blossom into unexpected, exciting and rewarding paths.
As a singer Rose has played across the UK, The Netherlands, Sweden and France, notable gigs including:
BBC Radio London
Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club
The School of Life
The London A Cappella Festival
The Mint Street Festival
She also sings at weddings, corporate events and in central London hotels such as The Hilton Bankside, The St. Pancras Renaissance and The Montague.
She regularly performs with The Lollipops and The London Songbirds and in the past with London Contemporary Voices, Daisy Roots and SOUND.
Rose has been a choir director for over 7 years, founding and heading two popular choirs in London: The Bridge Choir and All The Voices, as well as teaching two childrens’ choirs at River House Montessori School and performing at the London O2 Arena. She is also a member of the Association of British Choral Directors.
She writes and sings her own innovative choir arrangements which are available to purchase in the SHOP.
As a private singing and piano teacher, Rose brings enthusiasm, dedication and experience to students of all ages and abilities using a range of pedagogies to best suit her students’ needs.
She is well versed in several models for teaching voice including Estill Voice Training (EVT), Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) and Speech Level Singing (SLS) and is keenly interested in improving her own knowledge of vocal science by working towards the Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) and Master Trainer (EMT).
