Sale Sings Summer Stroll: Ashton and South Bank Mersey Loop

Time for our second summer stroll. This is shorter at 2.5 miles but it is further for anyone coming on the tram! We’ll go up past Ashton golf course, along the south bank of the river past the cricket club and then back to the pub via Ashton Park and quiet residential roads.

Parking: Free parking at the Buck Inn (put your reg number in at the bar)

Tram: Closest tram is Dane Rd and walk straight down Dane Rd/Glebelands Rd to Ashton.

Note the south bank path is quite rough in some places so isn’t fully accessible.
