Privacy policy

I LIKE SINGING is dedicated to protecting your privacy online, so I‘ve developed our Privacy Policy to let you know how your personal information is being treated whether you’re a choir member, interested in booking us for an event, or enquiring a personalised arrangement.

All personal information provided by you to us will be handled in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998, soon to be the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and our Privacy Policy set out below.

Our policy was last updated in June 22.

How we process your personal data

Personal data about you will only be collected when you contact us via our email addresses and/or regarding event bookings, joining one of our choirs or making an enquiry. We will most likely request your name, email address and telephone number so that we can respond to your request. If agreed, this personal information will be held on our secure system and used for operational purposes only and at no point be passed or transferred onto a third-party.

We may use your personal data to communicate with you, provide information to you and provide contact details of third-party providers at your request, such as ticket purchasing websites for our live productions but contact with third-party providers will be at your own discretion. We will only send you emails or other marketing information if you have expressed a wish for us to do so, or it is relevant to your membership.

We may also use your telephone number and/or email address to follow up your requests and from time to time, and for market research or survey purposes. We will always give you the opportunity to opt-out of this activity.

Please be aware that on occasion I may use a marketing platform to send out communications via email. Some partners currently store email addresses from our database and may transfer data outside of EEA but  we ensure that we only use third-party partners who safeguard your personal information.
