Members are assumed to be medically fit to undertake the activities of the choir. Anything which a Member is unsure of should be discussed with the Musical Director before seeking membership.
Sessions and Membership
1.1 our ilikesinging choirs operate 40 weeks per year. The choir will operate on the time, dates and location specified on publicity.
1.2 our ilikesinging choirs operate on subscription payment system paid monthly via Square Membership fees are reviewed annually.
1.3 The Member will be charged for any sessions they do not attend during the term. If a scheduled session has to be cancelled due to bad weather or Musical Director illness, the session will be scheduled for a later date or a refund will be given.
1.4 If one of our ilikesinging choirs stops the sessions, the Member will receive a full refund for the sessions not yet given.
1.5 You have the right to cancel the agreement at any time from the start of the agreement without giving any reason by clicking on manage on your invoice to cancel or by notifying us in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The Start of the Agreement begins when your first payment has been received.
1.6 In case of dispute you must show that you cancelled the Agreement in accordance with the cancellation terms.
1.7 Lyric and photocopiable music sheets will be provided via the members area on the website and via email. Members are asked to print off/download their own sheets to use at the sessions.
1.8 On becoming a Member of our ilikesinging choirs you will be added to the email mailing list to receive information about choir activities, social and other events.
1.9 If choir members can’t attend their regular session they may attend our other choirs at no extra cost: Altrincham (Monday 7pm-8:30pm), Altrincham (Tuesday 12pm-1pm), Chorlton (Wednesday 7.30pm – 9pm) The Lunchtime Choir is set up to cater for young children.
By joining, it is agreed that any photographic, motion picture, electronic (video) images and sound and video recordings may be taken of all the Members and used for advertising and marketing purposes in relation to our ilikesinging choirs.
Code of Conduct
2.1 Our ilikesinging choirs aim to provide a positive and safe environment for all its Members. In order to do this, we must ensure acceptable standards of behaviours from all its Members.
- All Members should be co-operative and respectful towards each other and Staff. Any form of negative behaviour, whether written or verbal towards others including the ilikesinging choirmembers and staff or to the rehearsal/ performance environment staff or audience will lead to cancellation of Membership without a refund.
- Sessions at The Lunchtime Choir are designed to be baby and child friendly. They are open to all ages, whether you bring a child or not. All participants are expected to be welcoming and supportive of the needs of parents who bring children to the setting.
2.2 We uphold an equal opportunities environment.
2.3 Members should understand clearly that The Great Day Choir cannot be held financially responsible for damage caused by misconduct.
Health and Safety
3.1 Our ilikesinging choirs are not responsible for damage to person or personal belongs whilst attending sessions and performances or before and after sessions and performances.
3.2 Our ilikesinging choir members are responsible for their own property and well-being whilst attending all sessions and performances.
3.3 Our ilikesinging choirs review our covid policy monthly with together with their choir members and are responsible for following those rules.
4.1 You agree to pay fees on prior to your first session and every month thereafter.
4.2 You confirm that you are at least 18 years old. (for our adult choirs)
4.3 Downloads which can be accessed as a member of our ilikesinging choirs, and are for use in this choir only and must not be shared with any third parties without first seeking permission from Rose de la Font.
4.4 You consent to incidental inclusion in marketing photographs that we make take from time to time.
4.5 You agree to inform us immediately of any changes to your personal details including contact information by emailing email@example.com
5.1 Children under the age of 18 years brought any session of our ilikesinging choirs are solely the responsibility of the Parent/ Carer.
5.2 You may opt out of email and SMS communications that we send but if you do, we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred by you not receiving ilikesinging choir related communications.
Data Protection Act
Personal and private information held by our ilikesinging choir for the purpose of communication such as email addresses and telephone numbers are put into Mailchimp to be able to write group emails, however they will not be passed to any other external bodies, organisations, third parties or other Members.
Ilikesinging reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
This Agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
